- PATIENTS ARE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE ADEQUATE MEDICAL ATTENTION BY PERSONAL WITH ADEQUATE PREPARATION ACCORDING TO YOUR HEALTH NEEDS. (Ley General de Salud Artículos 51 y 89. Reglamento de la Ley General de Salud en materia de prestacion de servicios de atención médica, articulos 21 y 48)
- RECEIVE TREATMENT WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT BY THE PHYSICIAN, NURSE AND PERSONAL THAT CONSIDER YOUR CULTURAL CONDITIONS, GENDER AND MODESTY. (Ley General de Salud Articulos 51 y 83. Reglamento de la Ley General de Salud en materia de prestacion de servicios de atenccion medica, Articulos 25 y 48)
- RECEIVE CLEAR, TIMELY AND ACCURATE INFORMATION. THE TREATING PHYSICIAN MUST PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DIAGNOSIS, PROGNOSIS AND TREATMENT; AND ALWAYS EXPLAIN IN A CLEAR AND UNDERSTANDABLE MANNER. YOU ARE ENTITLED TO WRITTEN INFORMATION THAT YOU WOULD NEED IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A SECOND OPINION ON THE DIAGNOSIS, PROGNOSIS AND TREATMENT RELATED TO YOUR HEALTH. - RECEIVE EMERGENCY MEDICAL ATTENTION. WHEN YOUR LIFE IS IN DANGER, OR THE DANGER OF ORGAN LOSS OR FUNCTION, PATIENTS HAVE THE RIGHT TO URGENT MEDICAL CARE BY A DOCTOR, IN ANY HEALTH FACILITY — PUBLIC OR PRIVATE — TO STABILIZE THE CONDITION. - HAVE A CLINICAL FILE. THE PATIENT IS ENTITLED TO HAVE A COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH FILE, AND THAT IT BE CLEAR, PRECISE, AND COMPLETE. IT MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE MEXICAN LAW, NOM 168 -SSA -1998. - RESPONSE WHEN DISSATISFIED WITH MEDICAL ATTENTION. YOU HAVE THE HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE HEARD AND RECEIVE AN ANSWER FROM THE CORRESPONDING AUTHORITY. YOU ALSO HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE A JUDICIAL ALTERNATIVE MEANS IF NECESSARY TO RESOLVE A DISPUTE WITH HEALTH PERSONAL.
